great access to parks and nature for weekend explorations

The easy stroll to gilliom-cherp nature park, just under 3 km away, makes it perfect for enjoying beautiful views in a relaxing atmosphere. With charles mill lake only about 3.5 km from here, it's an ideal spot for weekend wanderers like me who love discovering scenic spots nearby.

Stayed here after hearing unsettling reports, but honestly expected a royal treatment that never arrived. Carpets are downright disgusting with stains everywhere, and as for fresh towels, good luck. No one even bothered to inform me that they were out of everything. I swear my stay could've been good, but alas, it just wasn't meant to be.

A few things. The decor offered a unique charm that stood out. The room felt clean, and I appreciated the mini-fridge and microwave. The shower had great water pressure. The carpet in the hallway looked a bit worn and could use a good cleaning. While I found the bed comfortable, the pillows were quite lumpy and not the usual type found in most motels. Breakfast seemed more like a morning option, but the waffle maker was a fun addition. On the downside, there were issues with the Wi-Fi. It functioned well in the lobby but not in the rooms, pretty frustrating.

The staff was accommodating, promptly offering a non-smoking room upon arrival. The ambiance had a unique charm, with quirky amenities, like a bar-style bottle opener in the bathroom.

The cleanliness could be improved. A thorough deep-clean would enhance the overall experience.

The kids loved the satellite programming available in the room, keeping them entertained. The breakfast included a cool self-serve waffle maker, a hit for everyone, especially the little ones.

In my wife's opinion, the area could use some family-friendly improvements.

Enjoyed my stay here a lot, the rooms were pretty clean and the staff was really helpful. the location of this place was awesome, right next to another hotel and a restaurant. Even found a Sharpie on the pillow! 😄.

I had a decent stay. The bathroom was quirky with a metal bottle opener, which was amusing, and they were able to switch me to a non-smoking room. However, a strong cigarette smell lingered throughout the building.

We had a hard time finding fresh towels in our room. Instead, we had to wait for ours to be washed. The cleanliness standards could definitely be improved. Overall I'd suggest this hotel.

The staff were superbly friendly and excellent. the location was comfy and good, next to a supermarket. the hotel was situated just 3 miles from popular tourist destinations like the Hungry Tree.
